Moldavite is a fascinating stone - a member of the Tektites, with an amorphous crystal system. It is a mixture ofd aluminum oxide, silicon dioxide, and other metal oxides. Its formation was the result of a collision between a large meteorite in the Czech Republic, which is thought to have occurred 14.8 million years ago.

This beautiful pendant combines Faden Quartz and Moldavite. The name of faden quartz comes from white thread placed in the center of the crystal. Both stones have been set in organic clasps. The setting has been entirely carved by hand out of wax, and cast in sterling silver. (925) The colours of deep bottle green moldavite contrast with the milky Faden Quartz beautifully.

This elegant and useful piece of jewelry might be used in any situation. It creates great effect, enbolding his owners charisma and personality, combained with classy or casual clothing.

MICHAŁ SIERADZKI

I am rather new at jewellery making. It's all started a few years ago.
I began to work on my own, following the birth of our second daughter. I am a stay-at-home Dad, and a jewellery artist.

I am inspired by the stones themselves--often having a vision of what I will create by the time I bring the stones home. Sometimes inspiration flows from a dream-like state. Ideas come late at at night or I awaken inspired to create.

I love looking at a stone and deciding how it should be framed. I begin each piece by carving the entire setting out of wax, and then casting it in silver. I like light, open patterns with an organic feel.

Care Instructions

Store your jewellery pieces individually so that they don’t scratch or
tangle, and to avoid tarnishing try to keep your sterling silver in an
airtight container.

Clean your jewellery carefully with a soft, non-abrasive and lint-free cloth.

Avoid spraying perfume and hairspray, applying suncreams and cleaning products – jewellery is susceptible to damage from these.

Remember to keep your jewellery away from extreme temperatures,
humidity or sunlight and don’t forget to remove your jewellery when you
shower or bathe, particularly when swimming in the sea or a chlorinated
swimming pool.
