Handmade pendant with copper rutile inclusions in quartz crystal. The delicate setting is made of a 925 sterling silver, oxidized and finished matt. Quartz with rutile is a kind of rock crystal with needle like rutile embedded in it. Rutilated quartz is popularly known as Venus-hair stone.

I am rather new at jewellery making. It's all started a few years ago.
I began to work on my own, following the birth of our second daughter. I am a stay-at-home Dad, and a jewellery artist.

I am inspired by the stones themselves--often having a vision of what I will create by the time I bring the stones home. Sometimes inspiration flows from a dream-like state. Ideas come late at at night or I awaken inspired to create.

I love looking at a stone and deciding how it should be framed. I begin each piece by carving the entire setting out of wax, and then casting it in silver. I like light, open patterns with an organic feel.

Care Instructions

Store your jewellery pieces individually so that they don’t scratch or
